Read, Learn and Practice
Learn vocabulary and phrases from an article and discuss it with other students.
Every week, we look at an article related to the topic of the month. After introductions and a warm-up activity, we take turns reading it, discussing interesting words and phrases along the way. During the last 10 - 15 minutes of the class, we take time to discuss the topic and issues raised in the article.
All students are welcome to continue the discussion on Discord.

How it works:
Once you're a supporter (either on Patreon, Stripe or PayPal) I will add your email to a mailing list. Every week, I'll circulate the Zoom link. It will be available in email, the private Discord server, and (possibly) Patreon.
When becoming a supporter, let me know your Discord contact so I can give you access to the supporter-only forums for the articles and notes.
For supporters:
Articles are shared in advance on Discord so you can review them before class, if you want.
A list of key vocabulary and terms are also shared on Discord (this may include additional terms we didn't get to discuss in class).
You can download a recording of the lesson after so you may rewatch it and take more notes.
Notes taken during the session are also shared on the Discord after class.
Additional discussion questions may be shared on Discord too, so you can continue the conversation in the practice rooms, if you'd like.
