In your English class you have been talking about teenagers and their roles in society. Now your English teacher has asked you to write an essay.

Example Answer
Some people believe that young people have nothing to teach older generations, but is it true? This essay will argue that there are many things that young adults can teach about, such as technology, environmentally-friendly practices, and how to stay fashionable.
To begin with, many young people are very adept at using modern technology, and know many things that would be valuable to others. They could help, for example, senior citizens learn how to use computers, enabling them to stay in touch with other people in their communities and their families.
Another thing that teenagers could teach about is the environment. Having grown up in an era when climate change threatens us all, they’ve learnt how to respect and take care of the planet. They have lots of knowledge about recycling and about its importance to impart. They can teach others these skills thus helping save the planet.
Finally, young people tend to be very creative, and they are knowledgeable about fashion and clothing trends. They can help older people by giving them recommendations about what to wear. As a result, this can positively raise the self esteem of older people and make them feel younger and more content.
In conclusion, there are many things that teenagers can teach older people. As far as I’m concerned, how to dress, how to use modern technological devices, and how to save the planet is only just the beginning.
